2012 Winter Teambuilding and Strategy Event

This weekend, I went on a Company Team Building and Strategy Event to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in Bavaria, Germany. It was my first skiing holiday since 2004 and it was so much fun!!!

We flew with Lufthansa airlines to Munich which followed with a coach transfer to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Our party was split between two hotels as there were so many of us. I stayed at the ATLAS Posthotel and the rest of the group stayed at the Obermuehle. We had set four course dinners at the Obermuehle on both Friday and Saturday evening.

The resort went to was called Garmisch-Partenkirchen, see a piste-map here. The town was big with a load of bars and a couple of clubs (one of which was just a few minutes from our hotel). Peaches was the closest bar, on the Saturday night our company filled the place, which was fun as which ever way you turned there were people you knew.

On the Friday night I wore a cream textured jumper, gold and black statement necklace, vintage scarf (a gift from Cow in Sheffield), teamed with thick black tights from Forever 21 and black leggings over the top. I wore my snow boots as well, with cream boot cuffs over the top of them.

On the second evening, I wore a black version of the knitted texture jumper seen above with a vintage necklace which used to be owned by my Granny. Again I wore the jumper with tights under leggings and the black snow boots, this time without the boot cuffs. The black textured jumper is no longer available, but various other colours can be purchase from here.

I had such a fun trip away and I’m so lucky to be working for such a great company that treats it’s employees amazingly! The whole trip was such fun and I really appreciate the generosity. Now, I just can’t wait to go skiing again!
